Lead Carpenter/Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and leadership\-driven **Carpenter Supervisor** to manage our carpentry team and oversee daily site operations. In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling tasks, enforcing safety protocols, inspecting work quality, and ensuring that both rough and finish carpentry meet project blueprints. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical woodworking knowledge with excellent communication skills to keep projects on track. **Key Responsibilities** * **Team Leadership**: Assign daily tasks to carpenters and apprentices, monitor their progress, and provide on\-site training. * **Project Scheduling**: Plan daily and weekly work schedules to meet project deadlines and coordinate with other trade supervisors. * **Quality Control**: Inspect finished woodwork, framing, and installations to ensure compliance with blueprints, building codes, and quality standards. * **Blueprint Interpretation**: Review architectural drawings, blueprints, and material specifications to accurately estimate labor and material needs. * **Safety Management**: Enforce strict adherence to site safety regulations, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). * **Material \& Inventory Tracking**: Requisition required lumber, hardware, and tools, while managing inventory to minimize waste and keep costs within budget. * **Problem Solving**: Resolve on\-site structural issues, design discrepancies, or team conflicts quickly to prevent project delays.
