Landscape Inspector - Roads & Bridges

**Overview** ------------ The Landscape Inspector will be responsible for overseeing, inspecting, and monitoring landscape and public realm works associated with the Projects. The role will ensure that landscape construction activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, project quality standards, environmental requirements, and clients guidelines. **Your role** ------------- **Landscape Construction Inspection** * Inspect and monitor landscape installation works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements. * Verify construction quality and workmanship for all landscape\-related activities. * Ensure landscape works are executed in accordance with project schedules and approved methodologies. * Conduct daily site inspections and report progress, issues, and non\-conformances. **Bridges \& Infrastructure Landscape Works** * Ensure proper integration of landscaping with transportation and bridge infrastructure. * Monitor interface areas between landscape, utilities, structures, and roadway works. **Irrigation Systems Inspection** * Monitor installation and testing of irrigation networks. * Witness testing and commissioning of irrigation systems. * Ensure irrigation works comply with project specifications and sustainability objectives. **Environmental \& Sustainability Compliance** * Ensure compliance with environmental requirements and clients sustainability standards. * Monitor implementation of water\-efficient landscaping solutions. * Ensure proper housekeeping and environmental protection practices during construction. **Quality Assurance \& Documentation** * Review Inspection Requests (IRs) submitted by contractors. * Verify materials used for landscape works comply with approved submittals. * Maintain inspection records, reports, and photographic documentation. * Identify non\-conforming works and monitor closure of corrective actions. * Support project quality audits and inspections. **Stakeholder Coordination** * Attend progress meetings and site coordination meetings. * Assist in resolving construction and landscape\-related technical issues. **Health, Safety \& Environment** * Ensure landscape works are carried out in accordance with project HSE requirements. * Monitor safe working practices around active bridge and infrastructure construction zones. * Participate in safety inspections and toolbox talks. * Promote safe excavation, planting, irrigation, and hardscape installation practices. **About you** ------------- **Qualifications** * Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Agriculture, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline. * Professional certification in landscape construction, horticulture, or irrigation systems is preferred. **Experience Requirements** * Minimum 5\-8 years of experience in landscape inspection and construction supervision. * Minimum 3 years of experience on infrastructure, transportation, or urban development projects. * Previous GCC or Saudi Arabia project experience is highly desirable. * Experience working with engineering consultants, PMCs, or major contractors is preferred. **Key Skills** * Strong inspection and quality control capabilities. * Excellent attention to detail. * Effective communication and stakeholder management skills. * Strong documentation and reporting abilities. * Problem\-solving and decision\-making skills. * Ability to manage multiple inspection activities simultaneously. **Behavioral Competencies** * Quality\-focused and detail\-oriented. * Proactive and results\-driven. * Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. * Ability to work in multidisciplinary project environments. * Commitment to safety, sustainability, and project excellence. * Professional and client\-focused approach. **Rewards \& benefits** ----------------------- Explore the rewards and benefits that help you thrive – at every stage of your life and your career.
