Land Surveyor ( Road Construction)

**Job Summary** The Land Surveyor is responsible for carrying out land and construction surveys for civil, road, infrastructure, and building projects. The role includes establishing control points, setting out works, conducting topographic surveys, verifying site dimensions, preparing survey reports, and ensuring all survey activities comply with project specifications, client requirements, and applicable standards. **Key Responsibilities** * Conduct land, topographic, boundary, and construction surveys. * Perform setting out for roads, buildings, utilities, drainage, pipelines, and infrastructure works. * Establish horizontal and vertical control points using GPS, Total Station, and leveling equipment. * Verify survey coordinates, elevations, alignments, and dimensions. * Prepare survey calculations, reports, sketches, and as\-built drawings. * Coordinate with engineers and construction teams to ensure accurate site layout. * Monitor excavation, earthworks, road alignments, and structural works. * Perform quantity calculations related to earthworks and site grading. * Ensure survey data is accurate and properly documented. * Conduct pre\-construction and post\-construction surveys. * Maintain and calibrate survey instruments. * Assist in preparing progress reports and measurement records. * Identify and resolve discrepancies between drawings and site conditions. * Ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards. Qualifications * Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or a related field. * Surveying certification is an advantage. * Valid Qatar Driving License is preferred. * Minimum **5–8 years** of experience as a Land Surveyor. * Minimum **3 years of GCC/Qatar experience** is preferred. * Experience in: * Road Construction * Infrastructure Projects * Utilities * Building Construction * Earthworks * Drainage Networks * Bridges (preferred) * Ashghal Projects (preferred) Technical Skills * Land surveying principles and practices. * Topographic and construction surveys. * GPS and GNSS surveying. * Total Station operation. * Digital leveling. * Setting out works. * Earthwork calculations. * Coordinate systems and datums. * Route alignment surveys. * Quantity calculations. * Reading engineering drawings. * As\-built survey preparation. * Survey data processing.
