LAND SURVEYOR – LANDSCAPING **Location:** Abu Dhabi, UAE **Industry:** Landscaping, Horticulture \& Infrastructure **Employment Type:** Full\-Time \| Site\-Based Position Overview We are seeking an experienced **Land Surveyor** to support landscaping and outdoor development projects in Abu Dhabi. The role will be responsible for conducting accurate site surveys, setting out works, verifying levels and coordinates, and providing reliable survey data to support the execution of **landscaping, irrigation, hardscape, grading, and related civil works**. Key Responsibilities * Conduct **topographical, construction, and as\-built surveys** for landscaping projects. * Establish and maintain **benchmarks, control points, coordinates, and reference levels**. * Carry out setting\-out activities for **softscape, hardscape, irrigation, paving, kerbs, walkways, drainage, and civil works**. * Take accurate measurements of existing site conditions and prepare survey data. * Verify **levels, alignments, gradients, elevations, and coordinates** against approved drawings. * Set out excavation, grading, planting areas, pathways, walls, kerbs, irrigation networks, and other landscaping features. * Conduct regular surveys to monitor work progress and ensure construction is executed according to approved drawings and specifications. * Prepare and verify **as\-built survey drawings and documentation**. * Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Landscape Engineers, Irrigation Engineers, and supervisors. * Identify discrepancies between site conditions and approved drawings and report them to the concerned project team. * Maintain accurate survey records, field notes, measurements, and reports. * Operate and maintain surveying equipment such as **Total Station, Auto Level, GPS/GNSS, and related instruments**. * Ensure all survey equipment is properly calibrated and maintained. * Assist the project team with quantity measurements and progress verification where required. * Support quality control by ensuring correct **levels, slopes, dimensions, and alignment** of completed works. * Follow company **HSE/QHSE procedures** and safe working practices at all times. Qualifications \& Experience * Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in **Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or a related field**. * Minimum **3–5 years of relevant experience**, preferably in landscaping, civil construction, infrastructure, or irrigation projects. * Strong experience in **site setting\-out, levelling, topographical surveys, and as\-built surveys**. * Proficiency in **Total Station, Auto Level, GPS/GNSS, and surveying instruments**. * Ability to read and interpret **civil, landscape, grading, irrigation, and engineering drawings**. * Knowledge of **AutoCAD** and survey data processing software. * Good understanding of coordinates, benchmarks, elevations, gradients, and site measurements. * UAE/GCC landscaping or construction experience will be an advantage. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. * Good communication and coordination skills.
