Job description
• Provide breastfeeding consultations to mothers
• Develop and implement personalized lactation care plans
• Educate mothers and families about breastfeeding techniques and benefits
• Assess and address common breastfeeding issues such as latch difficulties and low milk supply
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care
• Offer emotional support and encouragement to breastfeeding mothers
• Conduct breastfeeding classes and workshops
• Maintain detailed records of patient interactions and treatment plans
• International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) credential
• Experience in maternal or child health care as a DHA Registered Midwife
• Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care
• Previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting as a Registered Midwife/ Registered Nurse & Lactation Consultant
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working with breastfeeding mothers
