Job description
Job Summary: The Laboratory Attendant supports refinery laboratory operations by handling bottle washing, sample containers, sample movement, cylinder support, housekeeping, and logistics. The role helps ensure continuous, safe, and efficient lab support across refinery activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate and support bottle washing equipment.
* Clean, recycle, and maintain laboratory glassware and sample containers.
* Maintain minimum stock levels of bottles and consumables.
* Collect, deliver, and distribute samples within refinery locations.
* Manage sample retention, disposal, and dispatch activities.
* Clean and maintain metal sample cylinders and gas traps.
* Perform housekeeping of laboratory benches, equipment, and work areas.
* Assist with minor maintenance and general support tasks.
* Provide transportation support for laboratory\-related materials.
* Follow refinery safety, HSE, and operational procedures.
Qualifications:
* 1–3 years of experience in laboratory support, refinery operations, industrial work, or logistics.
* Valid Bahrain driving license without traffic violations.
* Basic knowledge of sample handling, bottle washing, and laboratory housekeeping.
* Familiar with chemical handling and general refinery safety practices.
* Physically fit to carry out manual support duties.
* Able to work in shifts and follow instructions carefully.
License/Certification:
* Bahrain driving license without traffic violations. (Required)
