**Junior Planning Engineer** **Location:** Muscat, Oman**Employment Type:** Full\-Time**Salary:** OMR 200 – OMR 500 per month (Based on experience and qualifications) **Job Summary** We are seeking a motivated and detail\-oriented **Junior Planning Engineer** to join our growing team in Oman. The ideal candidate will have **1–2 years of experience** in project planning and scheduling within the construction or engineering industry. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on challenging projects while developing your planning and project management expertise. **Key Responsibilities** * Prepare, update, and monitor project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project. * Assist in developing baseline schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), and project timelines. * Track project progress and identify schedule deviations. * Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and other departments to ensure timely project execution. * Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports. * Analyze project performance and recommend corrective actions when delays occur. * Support resource planning and allocation. * Maintain project planning documentation and records. * Participate in project meetings and provide scheduling updates. **Requirements** * Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. * **1–2 years of experience** as a Planning Engineer or in a similar project planning role. * Proficiency in **Primavera P6** and/or **Microsoft Project**. * Good understanding of project scheduling, planning techniques, and construction processes. * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills. * Excellent communication and coordination abilities. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working on construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects. * Knowledge of project management principles. * Familiarity with progress reporting and earned value concepts. **What We Offer** * Competitive salary package (OMR 200–500\). * Career growth and professional development opportunities. * Collaborative and professional work environment. * Opportunity to work on diverse engineering projects. **How to Apply** Interested candidates who meet the above requirements are encouraged to apply through Indeed with an updated CV.
