Junior Lawyer, Legal Services

**Job Summary/Purpose:** Support the Lawyer, Legal Services, in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing legal documents, conducting legal research in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and business requirements. **Responsibilities:** * Draft, review and negotiate local and overseas commercial contracts, MOUs, NDAs, Distribution Agreements, Agency Agreements, Lease Agreements, etc. * Regularly review and validate the local agreements / contracts to ensure compliance, accuracy, and alignment with applicable requirements, identify and address any gaps or risks, report findings and recommended actions to the Manager, Legal Services. * Ensure a sound understanding of the applicable Legal System and effectively apply relevant laws and regulations to address business\-related inquiries, mitigate legal risks, and provide timely guidance to stakeholders. * Coordinate with Legal team members to provide timely, consistent, and integrated legal advice to Business Units, ensuring effective resolution of legal matters and alignment with business objectives. * Provide legal support to Manager, Legal Services in summarizing complicated legal documents, including contracts, and suggest alterations to those documents. * Conduct labor investigations with the employees and counsel the employees/managers on issues leading to legal implications. * Conduct legal research, use of statutes, codes and other legal resources and write briefs for submission to the Manager, Legal Services. * Extract and utilize information from statutes, court decisions, legal documents, policies and related records.
