Job Title: Junior Civil Engineer – Firestopping, Coating \& Estimation **Company:** Vortexen Dynamics Industrial Solutions **Location:** Dubai, UAE **Employment Type:** Full\-Time **Experience Level:** 2–3 Years Experience Preferred Job Summary Vortexen Dynamics Industrial Solutions is seeking a motivated Junior Civil Engineer with approximately 2–3 years of relevant experience to support estimation, technical documentation, firestopping, passive fire protection, coating projects, and project coordination within the UAE. Candidates must be currently based in Dubai. Preference will be given to applicants under family or relative sponsorship. Candidates with experience in estimation, construction, firestopping, waterproofing, painting, protective coating, or related works will be preferred. The selected candidate will gain practical exposure to UAE and international projects. Key Responsibilities * Assist in preparing quantity take\-offs, BOQs, estimates, quotations, and proposals. * Study drawings, specifications, tender documents, and client requirements. * Support estimation for firestopping, passive fire protection, and coating works. * Prepare material calculations, manpower calculations, project costing, and comparison sheets. * Assist in preparing technical submittals, method statements, compliance statements, and project documentation. * Coordinate with UAE operations, sales, estimation, procurement, and project teams. * Contact suppliers and manufacturers for technical information and quotations. * Maintain records of enquiries, proposals, projects, materials, and estimation documents. * Support preparation of engineering judgments and firestopping system details. * Assist in project planning, daily reports, progress reports, and cost tracking. * Learn international firestopping systems, coating systems, testing standards, and project requirements. * Participate in technical training provided by the company and manufacturers. Required Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering. * 2–3 years of relevant UAE experience in construction, estimation, or related fields. * Candidates must be currently based in Dubai. * Preference for candidates under family or relative sponsorship. * Basic to intermediate knowledge of estimation, quantity surveying, BOQ preparation, and construction materials. * Interest in firestopping, passive fire protection, protective coating, and industrial projects. * Ability to read civil, architectural, structural, and MEP drawings. * Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. * Good written and spoken English. * Strong willingness to learn and develop technical expertise. * Ability to work accurately under deadlines.
