Job description
**Job Title: Junior Accountant / Bookkeeper**
**Location: Al Ain, UAE**
**Responsibilities:**
* Assist in daily accounting operations and data entry
* Prepare and maintain financial records, ledgers, and supporting documents
* Process invoices, receipts, and payments
* Maintain accurate bookkeeping records in accounting software
* Assist with monthly closing activities and financial reports
* Reconcile bank statements and accounts
* Support senior accounting staff and management when needed
* Ensure compliance with UAE accounting and VAT laws
**Requirements:**
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
* Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and bookkeeping principles
* Knowledge of VAT and UAE accounting regulations (preferred)
* Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks
* Good communication and organizational skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office
