JCB / Backhoe Operator

• Operate JCB/Backhoe machinery with precision to excavate, trench, and backfill sites according to project blueprints and survey markings. • Safely maneuver heavy equipment on diverse terrain, including uneven ground, slopes, and confined spaces, ensuring no damage to surroundings. • Perform routine pre-operation checks and post-operation inspections of the JCB/Backhoe, identifying and reporting any mechanical issues or safety concerns. • Load and unload materials such as soil, gravel, and debris onto trucks or into designated areas, maintaining efficient workflow. • Possess a valid Heavy Equipment Operator license or certification, demonstrating foundational knowledge. • Have a minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience operating JCBs and backhoe loaders on construction sites. • Demonstrate proficiency in reading and interpreting site plans, blueprints, and grade stakes. • Exhibit strong mechanical aptitude for performing daily checks and basic maintenance on machinery.
