IT Manager

We are supporting a Semi-Government entity in Abu Dhabi in their search for an IT Manager to lead and develop the organisation s technology function. This is a managerial position within a structured, service-led environment, offering the opportunity to oversee core IT operations while supporting the organisation s long-term digital strategy. Reporting to senior leadership, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring technology services are secure, reliable, and aligned with business objectives. Key Responsibilities • Lead the organisation s IT function across infrastructure, enterprise systems, cybersecurity, and end-user support. • Oversee the day-to-day delivery of IT services, ensuring high levels of performance, availability, and operational excellence. • Drive digital transformation initiatives and identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and technology capabilities. • Develop and implement IT policies, governance frameworks, and best practices to support business continuity and security. • Manage relationships with external technology vendors and service providers, ensuring quality delivery and value. • Lead, mentor, and develop a small internal IT team while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. • Partner with business stakeholders to align technology initiatives with organisational priorities and future growth. • Proven experience leading enterprise IT operations across infrastructure, enterprise systems, cybersecurity, and service delivery. • Strong background in managing IT teams, technology vendors, and operational support functions. • Experience delivering digital transformation initiatives and improving technology capabilities. • Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on operational leadership. • Previous experience within government, semi-government, or other highly structured organisations is preferred. • This opportunity is open to UAE Nationals only.
