IP Billing Officer

• Prepare and generate accurate inpatient bills for discharged patients. • Review patient records, treatment details, medications, investigations, and procedures to ensure correct billing. • Verify insurance eligibility, approvals, and coverage before final bill preparation. • Maintain billing records and documentation in the Hospital Information System (HIS). • Follow hospital billing policies, insurance regulations, and compliance standards. • Reconcile billing reports and assist in month-end financial reporting. • Support audits by providing billing records and required documentation. • Escalate unresolved billing issues to the Billing Supervisor or Finance Manager. • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field. • Diploma or certification in Medical Billing is an added advantage. • Possesses 3-5 years of experience in billing or billing processes from healthcare background. • Demonstrates proficiency in IP billing software, streamlining billing tasks. • Exhibits strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve billing discrepancies, ensuring accuracy.
