Investment Associate

We are looking for Investment Associate to assist our investment decision\-making processes by performing research and analysis in various asset classes and industries. The role will provide a steep learning curve in the field of investment management and will work closely with the Investment Advisors and the CEO. **Responsibilities** 1\.Market and Industry Research: a. Conduct comprehensive market and industry research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and risks. b. Analyze market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and industry\-specific factors that may impact investment decisions. c. Stay updated with the latest industry reports, news, and market intelligence to inform investment strategies. 2\. Global Market Research and Analysis: a. Monitor and analyze the global public markets to identify investment opportunities and risks. b. Stay up\-to\-date with market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory developments. c. Conduct thorough company and industry research to evaluate investment prospects. 3\. Valuation and Fund Assessment: a. Perform financial modeling, valuation analysis, and due diligence on potential investments. b. Evaluate fund performance and assess their alignment with investment strategies and objectives. c. Analyze investment portfolios and provide recommendations for portfolio optimization. 4\. Economic Monitoring and Analysis: a. Track macroeconomic indicators, such as GDP, inflation rates, and interest rates. b. Assess the impact of economic factors on investment opportunities and portfolio performance. c. Generate reports and present findings on economic trends to internal stakeholders. 5\. Due Diligence and Risk Assessment: a. Conduct due diligence on prospective investments, including financial statement analysis and risk assessment. b. Identify and evaluate potential risks associated with investments, such as market, regulatory, and operational risks. 6\. Presentation and Communication: a. Prepare comprehensive investment reports, presentations, and investment memoranda. b. Communicate investment recommendations and insights to portfolio managers and senior leadership. c. Engage in regular discussions with investment bankers to gather market intelligence and explore potential investment opportunities. **Requirements** \- Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, economics, or a related field. \- Pursuit of CFA Charter is preferred. \- Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of financial modeling and valuation techniques. \- Proficiency in market research tools, financial databases, and data analysis software. \- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective presentation of findings and recommendations. \- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines. \- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy in financial analysis. \- Exceptional Excel skills with experience using advanced Excel functions, e.g. vlookup, index match, offset \- Prior experience in investment analysis, asset management, or a related field is preferred.
