We are seeking a highly organized and analytical **Portfolio Operations Lead** to oversee the day\-to\-day operational functions supporting our investment portfolios while driving efficiency, accuracy, and regulatory compliance. Position Summary The Portfolio Operations Lead is responsible for managing portfolio operations, ensuring accurate trade processing, maintaining investment records, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and supporting the investment team through efficient operational processes. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining operational integrity and improving workflows. Key Responsibilities * Oversee daily portfolio operations and ensure timely processing of investment transactions. * Monitor trade settlements, cash movements, reconciliations, and corporate actions. * Maintain accurate portfolio records and investment documentation. * Coordinate with custodians, brokers, banks, fund administrators, and external service providers. * Develop and improve operational processes to increase efficiency and reduce operational risk. * Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable regulatory requirements. * Prepare operational reports and performance data for management. * Identify operational risks and implement appropriate controls and mitigation measures. * Support portfolio managers with operational analysis and investment administration. * Assist during audits, regulatory reviews, and due diligence exercises. * Lead and mentor operations staff while fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in investment operations, portfolio administration, asset management, banking operations, or a related financial services environment. * Strong understanding of investment products, portfolio administration, settlements, reconciliations, and cash management. * Knowledge of financial regulations and operational risk management. * Excellent analytical and problem\-solving abilities. * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications. * Experience working with portfolio management or investment operations systems is an advantage. * Professional certifications such as CFA, CAIA, FRM, or relevant operations qualifications are considered an asset. * Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.
