Interior designer

BPM Architects is seeking an experienced Lead Interior Designer to join our team in Kuwait. We are looking for a creative and technically skilled professional with strong experience in interior design, project coordination, client management, and project execution. The ideal candidate should be capable of leading interior design projects from concept development through detailed design, site coordination, and final completion while maintaining a high standard of design quality. Key Responsibilities \* Lead interior design projects from initial concept development through construction and final execution \* Develop design concepts, space plans, mood boards, material palettes, and presentation packages \* Prepare and review interior design drawings, specifications, schedules, and technical documentation \* Ensure design proposals respond effectively to the client’s brief, project requirements, budget, and program \* Present design concepts, material selections, and project updates to clients and senior management \* Coordinate interior design works with architectural, structural, MEP, lighting, and specialist disciplines \* Review furniture, fixtures, equipment, materials, finishes, and interior detailing \* Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers, manufacturers, and project teams \* Review shop drawings, material samples, mock\-ups, and technical submissions \* Conduct site inspections and monitor the quality and progress of interior works \* Resolve design, technical, and site\-related issues during project execution \* Manage client comments, design revisions, and approval processes \* Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements \* Lead, guide, and support junior and mid\-level interior designers \* Delegate tasks and review the quality and accuracy of work produced by the design team \* Support project proposals, client presentations, design competitions, and business\-development activities \* Stay informed about interior design trends, materials, products, technologies, and industry developments Requirements \* Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related field \* Minimum 7 years of professional experience in interior design \* Proven experience leading interior design projects from concept through completion \* Strong portfolio demonstrating design creativity, technical knowledge, and completed projects \* Experience in residential, commercial, hospitality, workplace, or retail interior projects \* Strong knowledge of interior materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and construction methods \* Good understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP coordination \* Ability to prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, schedules, and design documentation \* Strong client\-management, presentation, communication, and coordination skills \* Strong leadership, decision\-making, and problem\-solving abilities \* Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines \* Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite \* Experience with Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Rhino, Enscape, Lumion, V\-Ray, or similar software is an advantage \* Previous professional experience in Kuwait or the GCC is preferred How to Apply Interested candidates are invited to submit their CV and Portfolio to: Email : Please include “Lead Interior Designer” in the email subject line.
