Job description

The Instrumentation Asset Data & SAP PM Engineer is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of instrumentation asset data, conducting equipment criticality assessments, and maintaining asset master data within SAP Plant Maintenance (PM). The role supports maintenance reliability, asset performance, and operational excellence by standardizing equipment information and ensuring compliance with engineering and maintenance standards. • Review instrumentation records to identify missing, inaccurate, or incomplete equipment data. • Verify equipment information using P&IDs, loop diagrams, instrument index, datasheets, and asset registers. • Coordinate with Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations teams to collect and validate equipment information. • Prepare and standardize equipment datasheets for pressure, temperature, flow, level, analyzers, control valves, and other instrumentation assets. • Update technical specifications, operating ranges, calibration details, and equipment parameters while ensuring document accuracy and revision control. • Perform equipment criticality assessments based on safety, environmental, production, and reliability impacts. • Classify instrumentation assets according to operational risk and support the development of preventive and predictive maintenance strategies. • Create, update, and maintain SAP PM master data, including Equipment Masters, Functional Locations, Classification, and Maintenance Plans. • Ensure proper asset hierarchy, coding standards, and data quality within SAP. • Support asset management initiatives by maintaining accurate equipment records and improving master data quality. • Ensure compliance with company engineering standards, maintenance procedures, and HSE requirements. • Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation Engineering or a related Engineering discipline. • Minimum 5 years of experience in instrumentation maintenance, reliability, or asset management within industrial environments. • Hands-on experience with SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP PM) , including Equipment Master Data and Functional Locations. • Strong knowledge of industrial instrumentation, calibration, P&IDs, loop diagrams, and engineering documentation. • Experience in equipment criticality assessment and maintenance planning is preferred. • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
