Instrument Technician

KnowledgeAndQualifiction Diploma in Instrumentation/Electrical/Electronic Engineering Minimum of 4 years of Experience in SCADA, PLC Systems in Waste Water, ETP plant Journey-level work in the programming, installation, fabrication, construction, maintenance and repair of all types of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Remote Telemetry Units (RTU), Communications interface equipment/peripherals, and 1/0 integration. Have a working knowledge of various RTU and PLC programming languages to include ISaGRAF, DNP, ModBus, and Telegyr 8979. Working knowledge of PLC and RTU vendors to include Allen Bradley, Direct Logic/Kayo, Clear SCADA CC 3000, Landis & Gyr, and Cooper Cybectec. Fully competent to install, maintain, troubleshoot, document, and repair a wide variety of industrial instrumentation. Experience with computer systems, electronic monitoring, metering, controlling, signalling devices, PLC control systems, VFD control systems. SCADA system controls, fiber optic, and Ethernet systems . Experience with National Instruments I equal SCADA software and use of existing database and display configurations in troubleshooting of existing systems. Remote 1/0 over Ethernet expertise Experience with Allen Bradley Control/Logix hardware, programming software and ability to utilize for troubleshooting of existing programs. Rosemount transmitters experience . Some experience with being able to use RSLogix software to view existing programs for 1/0 troubleshooting PLC's is a plus.
