Hydraulic Technician – Heavy Trucks \& Waste Management Equipment **Company:** Five M Waste Management **Location:** UAE **Employment Type:** Full\-time Five M Waste Management is looking for an experienced **Hydraulic Technician** to inspect, diagnose, repair and maintain the hydraulic systems installed on our fleet of heavy trucks and waste\-management equipment. The successful candidate must have practical experience working with hydraulic systems used on skip loaders, hook loaders, tippers, compactors and other heavy vehicles. Key Responsibilities * Diagnose hydraulic faults on heavy trucks and waste\-management equipment. * Repair and maintain hydraulic pumps, cylinders, control valves, hoses, fittings and hydraulic motors. * Inspect hydraulic systems for leakage, pressure loss, overheating and abnormal operation. * Remove, repair, reseal and reinstall hydraulic cylinders. * Replace damaged hydraulic hoses, seals, pipes and fittings. * Test hydraulic pressure and system performance using suitable diagnostic equipment. * Carry out preventive maintenance according to the company’s maintenance schedule. * Troubleshoot problems affecting skip\-loader arms, tipper bodies, hook\-lift systems and lifting mechanisms. * Check hydraulic\-oil condition and recommend replacement or filtration when necessary. * Ensure repairs are completed safely and correctly before vehicles return to operation. * Record all repairs, parts used and maintenance activities on job cards or within the ERP system. * Coordinate with mechanics, electricians, welders, the Storekeeper and the Maintenance Supervisor. * Identify recurring hydraulic failures and recommend permanent corrective actions. * Maintain tools, equipment and the workshop area in good condition. * Attend roadside or site breakdowns when required. * Follow company health, safety and environmental procedures. Requirements * Minimum 3 years of practical experience as a Hydraulic Technician. * Previous experience maintaining heavy trucks is mandatory. * Experience with skip loaders, hook loaders, tippers, compactors or waste\-management vehicles is strongly preferred. * Strong knowledge of hydraulic pumps, cylinders, valves, hoses and pressure systems. * Ability to read basic hydraulic diagrams is preferred. * Ability to diagnose faults independently. * Experience in cylinder resealing and hydraulic\-hose fabrication is an advantage. * Basic welding or mechanical maintenance knowledge is an advantage. * Ability to work under pressure and respond to vehicle breakdowns. * Good attention to safety and workmanship. * UAE experience is preferred.
