**Job Profile: Hydraulic Pump Technician** **Position Overview** The Hydraulic Pump Technician is responsible for the installation, testing, repair, overhaul, and maintenance of hydraulic pumps, motors, valves, and related components for industrial, mobile, and marine hydraulic systems. The role requires hands\-on expertise with premium hydraulic brands and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex hydraulic system faults independently. **Key Responsibilities** * Diagnose, dismantle, repair, and rebuild hydraulic pumps, motors, and valves (axial piston, gear, vane types) * Perform bench testing and performance validation using hydraulic test rigs * Read and interpret hydraulic circuit diagrams, technical manuals, and OEM service bulletins * Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance on customer sites when required * Identify genuine spare parts requirements and prepare accurate service/repair reports * Ensure repairs meet OEM specifications and quality standards (e.g., Bosch Rexroth, Eaton Danfoss, Linde, Oil gear, HYDAC, Kawasaki service protocols) * Calibrate and set relief valves, pressure compensators, and flow control valves * Maintain proper documentation of service history, warranty claims, and test certificates * Coordinate with the sales/service team on customer technical queries and troubleshooting * Follow HSE (Health, Safety \& Environment) guidelines strictly during workshop and field operations * Train junior technicians/apprentices as needed **Minimum Qualifications** * **Education**: Higher Secondary Education (12th grade / Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, or related trade preferred but not mandatory) * **Technical Training**: Certification or hands\-on training in hydraulics/fluid power is an advantage * **Experience**: Minimum 4–5 years of relevant experience working with reputed hydraulic equipment distributors/dealers, specifically handling: * Bosch Rexroth * Eaton Danfoss * Linde Hydraulics * Kawasaki Precision Machinery * **Regional Experience**: Prior work experience in GCC (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain) or Asia (India, Southeast Asia) preferred **Required Skills \& Competencies** * Strong practical knowledge of axial piston pumps/motors, variable displacement systems, and proportional/servo valves * Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics * Proficiency with diagnostic and test equipment (pressure gauges, flow meters, test benches) * Good understanding of hydraulic fluid specifications, contamination control, and filtration * Basic computer literacy for service reporting (MS Office/ERP systems) * Strong troubleshooting and problem\-solving skills * Good communication skills in English (Arabic/Hindi is a plus depending on region) * Willingness to travel for site visits/field service **Preferred Additional Skills** * Experience with mobile hydraulics (construction, marine, or agricultural equipment) * Exposure to CNC or industrial hydraulic press systems * Valid driving license * OEM factory training certificates from Rexroth, Eaton Danfoss, Linde, or Kawasaki **Work Conditions** * Location: Workshop\-based with occasional field/site visits * Working Hours: Standard shift with flexibility for emergency breakdown calls * Reporting to: Service Manager / Workshop Supervisor * Physical Requirements: Ability to lift moderate loads, work in workshop and outdoor site environments **Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)** * Turnaround time for repairs * First\-time\-fix rate * Customer satisfaction on service quality * Adherence to safety protocols * Accuracy of diagnostic reports Email\- ,in Pay: AED2,500\.00 \- AED3,000\.00 per month Work Location: In person
