HVAC Technician (Mechanical)

Key Responsibilities: Carry out operation and HVAC maintenance activities on a day\-to\-day basis \- Perform HVAC preventive and corrective maintenance safely \- Install, maintain and repair ventilation and air\-conditioning systems \- Diagnose mechanical faults and troubleshoot HVAC mechanical components, including compressor and fan motor failures \- Maintain reciprocating, screw and rotary compressors \- Adjust and replace fans; perform mechanical adjustments and repairs \- Perform brazing, nitrogen pressure testing and evacuation of HVAC units \- Commission HVAC units and execute equipment repairs as necessary \- Identify maintenance risks on equipment and perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently \- Clean, adjust and repair systems; keep daily logs and records of all maintenance functions \- Work as permit holder and follow the reporting hierarchy, safety procedures, Occupational Health and Safety Act and appliance standards \- Comply with service standards, work instructions and customer requirements; execute any other task assigned by the immediate supervisor. Requirements: \- Relevant Oil \& Gas shutdown experience \- Experience working in similar oil \& gas / heavy industrial plant site environments \- Holds permit\-to\-work authority (permit holder) Apply though Mind Stream.
