HVAC Engineer

Job Description Position: HVAC Engineer Location: Ajman We are seeking an experienced and technically strong HVAC Engineer to oversee all Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning systems within Dusit Ajman Resort & Villas. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal comfort for guests and staff by maintaining efficient, reliable, and energy-effective HVAC operations across the property. Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage all HVAC operations across guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, and back-of-house facilities. • Oversee installation, maintenance, repair, and preventive maintenance of HVAC systems. • Ensure optimal performance of chillers, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, cooling towers, and related systems. • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and energy-saving initiatives. • Monitor system performance and ensure quick response to breakdowns and emergencies. • Supervise external contractors. • Ensure compliance with safety standards, local regulations, and hotel policies. • Manage HVAC spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement. • Prepare technical reports, maintenance logs, and energy consumption reports. • Support capital projects, system upgrades, and refurbishments. • Coordinate closely with other engineering disciplines and hotel departments. • Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field. • Minimum 5 8 years of HVAC experience, preferably in hotels, resorts, or large facilities. • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, and ventilation systems. • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and system optimization. • Experience in energy management and cost control is an advantage. • Strong leadership and team supervision skills. • Good communication and reporting skills. • Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations.
