HSE Officer - Water Treatment Plant

**Safety Officer \- Water Treatment Plant \- Mind Stream** Mind Stream is recruiting a Safety Officer to take ownership of site safety inside water and wastewater treatment plant facilities. The role covers permit\-to\-work, confined space entry, chemical and chlorine handling, electrical isolation, contractor supervision, and incident investigation across daily operations and planned shutdowns. Responsibilities: \- Operate and enforce the site permit\-to\-work system across daily operations and planned shutdowns \- Control confined space entry into tanks, wet wells, digesters and vessels \- Enforce chemical and chlorine handling controls, including dosing system and storage area safety \- Manage electrical isolation and lock\-out/tag\-out and issue hot work permits across the plant \- Supervise contractor safety performance, conduct risk assessments, review method statements, and deliver toolbox talks \- Plan emergency response drills, investigate incidents to root cause, and carry out routine plant safety inspections and HSE reporting Requirements: \- NEBOSH IGC certification \- Strong working knowledge of permit\-to\-work, confined space entry, LOTO, and hot work permits \- Experience with chemical and chlorine handling safety in plant environments \- Proven ability to supervise contractor safety and lead incident investigations to closure Experience: 5\+ years Location: Qatar Contract duration: Ongoing (5\+5 year framework) Apply here: Apply through Mind Stream Email: careers@mind\-stream.net WhatsApp: \ Application Question(s): * Do you have Sewage Treatment Plant experience? * What is your notice Period?
