HSE Engineer

The HSE Engineer will monitor and enforce health, safety, and environmental requirements across the project, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, project procedures, and international best practices. Conduct routine site safety inspections and audits. Monitor contractor compliance with approved HSE plans. Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses. Review risk assessments, method statements, and permit systems. Ensure implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Deliver safety awareness initiatives and toolbox talks. Monitor environmental compliance and sustainability requirements. Prepare HSE reports and performance statistics. Bachelor s Degree in Engineering or relevant discipline. Minimum 8 10 years experience in construction HSE. Experience on large infrastructure or mixed-use development projects. NEBOSH International General Certificate (or equivalent) required. Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and practices. UAE/GCC supervision experience preferred.
