HSE Engineer (Renewable Energy/Construction HSE) Duqm, Oman (16 months)

**Location:** Duqm, Sultanate of Oman **Mobilization:** January 2027 **Duration:** 16 months **Sector:** Renewable Energy / Construction HSE **About the Role** ------------------ SEGULA Technologies Middle East is looking for an experienced **HSE Engineer** to support site safety supervision across major renewable\-energy and electrical\-infrastructure construction works in Duqm. **Key Responsibilities** ------------------------ * Monitor HSE compliance across construction activities. * Conduct routine site safety inspections. * Review **Permit to Work (PTW)** activities. * Participate in HSE meetings. * Coordinate safety matters with contractors and project stakeholders. * Monitor electrical safety. * Oversee battery/BESS\-related safety requirements where applicable. * Identify unsafe conditions and follow up corrective actions. * Monitor compliance with approved HSE plans and procedures. * Support incident prevention and site\-safety reporting. * Coordinate with the project's Lead HSE function. **Candidate Requirements** -------------------------- * Degree or Diploma in HSE or relevant technical discipline. * **NEBOSH qualification required.** * **Minimum 7 years of relevant HSE experience.** * Experience on renewable\-energy and/or substation projects. * Strong construction HSE experience. * Good knowledge of PTW systems. * Electrical\-safety experience preferred. * BESS/battery safety exposure advantageous. The client's requirement is NEBOSH plus at least seven years' experience in renewable/substation projects, covering site monitoring, PTW, inspections and electrical/battery safety.
