### **General Information** Country/Region Saudi Arabia Province/City Shura Island Hiring Entity Rosewood Red Sea Department Rooms \- Heart of House Job Type Full\-time Permanent ### **Job Description** **Overview** We are seeking a motivated and detail\-oriented Public Area Supervisor to oversee the cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation of all public areas within the hotel while ensuring exceptional luxury service standards. The Public Area Supervisor is responsible for supervising public area associates, maintaining high cleanliness standards, coordinating daily operational requirements, and ensuring compliance with Forbes, LQA, and Brand standards. This role plays a key part in delivering luxury guest experience by ensuring all public spaces, back\-of\-house areas, guest facilities, and associate areas are maintained to the highest level of cleanliness, presentation, safety, and operational readiness always. **Key Responsibilities** * Ensure that all Rosewood brand standards have been implemented. * Collaborate closely with other associates in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests. * Contribute to the collective commitment of a unique guest experience \- to create a sense of place. * Support new members of the public area team. * Must respond to all guest requests in a prompt and courteous manner. * Handle guests concerns and comments and find a proper resolution to ensure guest satisfaction. * Responsible to ensure associates have an accurate knowledge of hotel daily activities, events, outlet hours and directions, which are essential as “hotel ambassadors” in high traffic areas. * Ensure immaculate presentation of allocated areas through thorough and frequent inspections. * Inspect and complete public area inspection reports. * Ensure all cupboards are stocked properly with correct supplies and that all associates have the relevant tools for the job. * Ensure all associates’ equipment is well maintained and in proper working order. * Prepare worksheets for the day. * Ensure accurate staffing levels are scheduled in advance by reviewing hotel occupancy, hotel events, and anticipated movements in public areas. * Manage inventory of all public area decorations and items. * Set\-up and maintain standards look books for all public areas. * Assign special duties and special projects to associates. * Supervise/document the changing of any soft furnishings and any other upholstery in need of change, repair, or cleaning. * Display genuine hospitality when dealing with guests and associates. * Develop a Team spirit among the housekeeping department. * Attend all departmental meetings. * Attend training sessions both internal and external. * Assist with associate performance by giving timely feedback to associates and reporting back to Management. * Complete any special assignments directed by Housekeeping Leadership. * Report all disciplinary and grievance matters immediately to Director of Housekeeping/Assistant Director of Housekeeping. * Report all malfunctions in public areas to the Engineering department. Follow up any reports by taking further action if required. * Ensure safety and return of all key cards and Duty Phone. Report any loss of key card of Duty Phone immediately to the housekeeping office. * Perform other duties as requested by housekeeping office. * Ensure lost and found items are turned directly into Housekeeping and the lost property procedure followed. * Report immediately any matters concerning the security of guest rooms, functions, and public areas to the Security department. * Report suspicious looking people or items to Security. ### **About Us** Located along Saudi Arabia's west coast on the Shura Island, the new Rosewood hotel and residences will be part of The Red Sea destination.
