### **General Information** Country/Region Saudi Arabia Province/City Shura Island Hiring Entity Rosewood Red Sea Department Rooms \- Heart of House Job Type Full\-time Permanent ### **Job Description** **Overview** We are seeking a dedicated and detail\-oriented Public Area Attendant to maintain the cleanliness, presentation, and overall appearance of all public areas, guest facilities, and back\-of\-house areas to luxury hospitality standards. The Public Area Attendant is responsible for ensuring assigned areas are clean, safe, and well\-maintained while delivering exceptional guest service in accordance with Rosewood and hotel brand standards. This role is essential in creating positive guest experience by ensuring all public spaces are maintained in immaculate condition and by always providing courteous and professional assistance to guests and associates. **Key Responsibilities** * Ensure that all Rosewood brand standards have been implemented. * Work closely with other associates in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests. * Contribute to the collective commitment of a unique guest experience \- to create a sense of place. * Support new members of the housekeeping team. * Handle guests concerns and comments and find a proper resolution to ensure guest satisfaction. * Ensure immaculate presentation of allocated areas as listed on your daily worksheet, to the standards required. * Perform other duties as requested by housekeeping office. * As a “hotel ambassador” in high traffic areas, an accurate knowledge of hotel daily activities, events, outlet hours and directions, are essential. * Ensure lost and found items are turned directly into Security and the lost property procedure followed. * Gifts from guests must be accompanied by a signed authorization from the guest and security pass out before they can be removed from the hotel. * Ensure safety and return of all key cards and Duty Phone. Report any loss of key card of Duty Phone immediately to the housekeeping office. * Report immediately any matters concerning the security of guest rooms, functions and public areas to the Security department. * Ensure all equipment is well maintained and in proper working order. * Report on all malfunctions in assigned areas to Engineering department. Follow up on the actions taken. * Ensure safety of guest property and report anything suspicious to your supervisor. * Report suspicious looking people or anything suspicious to Supervisor \& Security. ### **About Us** Located along Saudi Arabia's west coast on the Shura Island, the new Rosewood hotel and residences will be part of The Red Sea destination.
