Job description
• Safely operate and maneuver heavy trucks, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and safety protocols.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, identifying any mechanical issues and ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy.
• Transport goods and materials efficiently, adhering to delivery schedules and maintaining accurate logs of mileage and fuel consumption.
• Load and unload cargo as necessary, using proper techniques to prevent damage and injury.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other drivers to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues.
• Manage paperwork related to shipments, including bills of lading, delivery receipts, and other necessary documentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck interior and exterior to promote a professional image.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well s local, state, and federal regulations governing transportation.
• Monitor weather and road conditions, adjusting routes and driving practices accordingly to ensure safety.
• Ability to operate platforms with lengths up to 20 meters is preferential admission.
• The ability to start work ASSP
• Transferable Saudi residence permit
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record and endorsements as required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience driving heavy trucks, preferably in a similar industry.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and basic repair skills to address minor issues on the road.
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual tasks.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries and efficient route planning.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure, especially in adverse conditions.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and a proactive approach to preventing accidents.
