**Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technician (Reach Stackers \& Rolling Stock Equipment)** About the Role We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair reach stackers, terminal tractors, forklifts, and other rolling stock equipment. The successful candidate will ensure equipment reliability, safety, and maximum operational uptime through effective preventive and corrective maintenance. Key Responsibilities * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on reach stackers and rolling stock equipment. * Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine faults. * Troubleshoot transmissions, braking systems, steering, hydraulics, lifting equipment, and control systems. * Interpret electrical wiring diagrams, hydraulic schematics, and OEM manuals. * Conduct equipment inspections and rectify defects identified in operator checklists. * Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and safe work practices. * Complete maintenance reports, job cards, and equipment service records. * Identify and request spare parts required for repairs. * Support equipment reliability by minimizing downtime and ensuring timely repairs. Qualifications \& Experience * Diploma or Trade Certificate in Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical, or Heavy Equipment Technology. * Minimum 10 years' experience maintaining heavy equipment such as reach stackers, forklifts, terminal tractors, and yard equipment. * Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical repairs. * Experience with CAN\-bus diagnostics and OEM diagnostic software is an advantage (Kalmar, Konecranes, Hyster, etc.).
