What You'll Be Doing Strategic Leadership: Define, implement, and continuously elevate the overarching Welfare and Wellbeing framework for the entire project life cycle, aligning with international standards (e.g., ILO, IFC) and Vision 2030 objectives. Program Oversight: Oversee the master planning and daily operations of worker accommodations, medical clinics, catering/nutrition, recreational facilities, and mental health support systems. Compliance & Auditing: Establish rigorous audit mechanisms to monitor contractors and subcontractors, ensuring absolute compliance with welfare KPIs, labor laws, and human rights standards. Crisis Management & Advocacy: Serve as the principal advisor on all workforce crises, grievances, and community health risks. Lead swift mitigation and resolution strategies. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate directly with client executives, government entities, PMC leads, and third-party auditors to report on welfare metrics and champion a culture of care. Innovation in Wellbeing: Introduce data-driven wellness initiatives, technology-enabled healthcare solutions, and cultural integration programs to boost morale and retention across all tiers of the workforce. Education: Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Sociology, Public Health, Psychology, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master s degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, CIPD) is highly preferred. Experience: 20+ years of progressive experience in workforce welfare, industrial relations, human rights compliance, or HSE management. Mega-Project Track Record: Proven experience directing welfare operations for massive, high-value infrastructure projects, heavy civil engineering works, or remote giga-projects ($10B+ value). Geographic Expertise: Prior experience in the Middle East (GCC region) is essential; a deep understanding of Saudi Arabian labor laws and the social dynamics of multinational labor forces is a distinct advantage. Authoritative Leadership: Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders and firmly enforce compliance mandates with multi-tiered contractors. Cultural Intelligence: Exceptional empathy and communication skills, with the ability to bridge cultural and linguistic gaps across a diverse workforce. Analytical Mindset: Skilled in leveraging data analytics to track welfare trends, predict risks, and measure the ROI of wellbeing programs. Resilience: Thrives in high-pressure, fast-paced, and remote project environments.
