### **General Information** Ref \# 236616 Location Qatar\-Doha Job family Corporate \& Commercial * Closing Date: 2026\-09\-22 ### **Description** We are seeking a highly strategic and commercially focused finance leader to join our Finance team as Head of Business Finance (Subsidiaries). This role will act as the key finance business partner for Qatar Airways Group's subsidiary businesses, providing financial leadership, strategic planning, performance management, and decision support to senior stakeholders. The successful candidate will drive financial excellence across multiple business entities while ensuring alignment with Group objectives and sustainable profitability. Role Responsibilities * Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long\-range strategic planning for subsidiary businesses. * Partner with business leaders to evaluate performance, identify opportunities, and drive sustainable growth. * Develop and present insightful financial analysis and recommendations to senior management. * Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting, including KPI analysis and performance tracking. * Build robust financial models and business cases to support investments, strategic initiatives, acquisitions, and transformation projects. * Conduct revenue, cost, profitability, and sensitivity analysis to support informed decision\-making. * Evaluate business risks and opportunities, providing mitigation strategies and commercial recommendations. * Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting accuracy, and business performance management. * Manage stakeholder relationships across Finance, Commercial, Operations, and Corporate functions. * Lead, coach, and develop a team of finance professionals while fostering a high\-performance culture. * Ensure compliance with financial policies, governance requirements, and corporate reporting standards. **About Qatar Airways Group** Our story started with four aircraft. Now is the time to bring your best ideas and passion to a place where your ambition will know no boundaries, and be part of a truly global community. ### **Qualification** * Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years of job\-related history. * 5 years in an airline management position and people management expertise * Finance Business Partner to Commercial Revenue Management divisions and stakeholders experience, preferably in large and structured Companies. * Knowledgeable in airline operations, with a preference to commercial matters. * Command of English language. * Strong analytical skills with the ability to review variances and understand the business cycle and their impact on the profit and loss account * Excellent communication and presentation skills are a must, as is the ability to work effectively across the organization. * Strongly developed “soft skills”, high level of integrity, open /transparent, team player. * Passionate about digitalization and innovation. * Must have excellent interpersonal skills with a customer\-centric driven approach. * Must have an excellent organizational ability to be able to set priorities, and handle multiple tasks. * Managerial skills \- Ability to delegate work, set clear direction, and manage workflow.
