Head Coach \& Gym Manager – Women’s Fitness Studio **Location:** Salmiya, Kuwait **Job Type:** Full\-time **Salary:** KD 800–900 per month \+ Personal Training commission \+ performance incentives Job Description We are looking for an experienced **Head Coach \& Gym Manager** to join a women\-focused fitness facility in Salmiya. This is a senior, hands\-on role for someone who is passionate about coaching but also capable of taking responsibility for the day\-to\-day fitness operation of the gym. Our training concept focuses primarily on **functional fitness, strength, conditioning and Personal Training** in a supportive and professional environment. We are looking for someone who can lead the coaching team, maintain high training standards, build strong relationships with members, develop Personal Training, and contribute to the continued growth of the gym. Key Responsibilities * Lead and coach group fitness classes. * Deliver high\-quality Personal Training sessions. * Oversee daily coaching and fitness operations. * Lead, support and coordinate the coaching team. * Develop and maintain structured training programs. * Manage coach schedules and class coverage. * Maintain high standards of coaching, professionalism and member care. * Welcome and assess new members. * Support member retention and engagement. * Help develop the gym's Personal Training business. * Build relationships with prospective and existing members. * Assist with fitness challenges, events and member activities. * Handle routine member and operational issues independently. * Work closely with ownership on gym performance, member experience and business development. What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate should have: * **Minimum 5 years of experience** in fitness coaching, Personal Training or group training. * Strong experience in **functional fitness, strength training and conditioning**. * Previous experience as a **Head Coach, Fitness Manager, Gym Manager or senior coach** is highly preferred. * Recognized fitness or Personal Training certification. * Strong programming and coaching knowledge. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Confidence leading both clients and other coaches. * Strong member\-service and relationship\-building skills. * Good understanding of Personal Training sales and client retention. * Professional working English. * Ability to work independently and take responsibility for day\-to\-day operations. * Legal eligibility to work in Kuwait. Working Schedule * 6 days per week. * Friday off. * Saturday is a shorter working day. * Working hours will fall within the gym's operating schedule. * Approximately 8 working hours per day plus break. Specific working hours will be discussed during the interview. Compensation \& Benefits The compensation package is designed to reward both coaching performance and contribution to the growth of the gym. * **Starting salary: KD 800 per month during the initial evaluation period.** * Salary review following successful completion of the evaluation period, with the position moving to **KD 900 per month** subject to successful confirmation. * **Up to 50% commission on Personal Training revenue.** * Personal Training commission is uncapped. * Additional **management/performance incentives** may apply following successful completion of the initial evaluation period. * Paid annual leave in accordance with Kuwait labour regulations. * Uniform provided. Initial Evaluation Period Because this is an important leadership position, the successful candidate will begin with an initial mutual evaluation period. This period allows both the candidate and the gym to determine whether the working relationship, coaching philosophy and management responsibilities are the right long\-term fit. During this period, the successful candidate will receive the agreed full salary and Personal Training commission. Candidates who demonstrate strong leadership, member engagement, operational capability and the ability to contribute to the growth of the gym will have the opportunity to develop into a significant long\-term leadership role within the business.
