BAR TEAM – NEW MEDITERRANEAN RESTAURANT CONCEPT * **1 Head Bartender** * **3 Bartenders** 1\. HEAD BARTENDER We are looking for an experienced and creative **Head Bartender** to lead the bar operation of a new Mediterranean restaurant concept. The Head Bartender will be responsible for developing the beverage identity of the concept, creating the cocktail menu, establishing recipes and standards, training the bar team, controlling costs, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. Key Responsibilities Beverage \& Cocktail Development * Create and develop the **initial cocktail and beverage menu** in line with the Mediterranean concept. * Develop signature cocktails inspired by Mediterranean ingredients, flavors, herbs, fruits, and traditions. * Create classic cocktails and modern variations where appropriate. * Develop non\-alcoholic cocktails, mocktails, fresh juices, specialty beverages, and other bar offerings. * Establish standardized recipes, measurements, glassware, garnishes, and presentation. * Conduct cocktail tastings and menu trials with management. * Regularly review the menu based on guest feedback, sales, profitability, and trends. Bar Opening \& Setup * Lead the bar preparation for the restaurant opening. * Assist with bar layout, equipment, glassware, smallwares, and operational requirements. * Establish opening and closing procedures. * Develop bar prep lists, mise en place standards, and daily checklists. * Ensure the bar is fully prepared for soft opening and grand opening. * Conduct full service simulations before opening. Team Leadership * Lead, supervise, and motivate the team of **3 Bartenders**. * Create staff schedules and assign daily responsibilities. * Train bartenders on cocktails, recipes, service standards, POS procedures, and product knowledge. * Maintain discipline, teamwork, and professional service standards. * Conduct regular training and beverage tastings. * Monitor individual performance and provide coaching. Cost Control \& Stock Management * Maintain beverage cost within the agreed target. * Cost all cocktails and beverages accurately. * Control pouring, portioning, wastage, breakage, and complimentary drinks. * Monitor stock levels and communicate purchasing requirements. * Conduct regular stock counts and investigate discrepancies. * Ensure proper storage and handling of all bar products. Guest Experience * Maintain high standards of hospitality and beverage service. * Engage with guests and provide recommendations when appropriate. * Handle guest complaints professionally. * Ensure every beverage leaving the bar meets the established quality and presentation standards. Requirements * Minimum **4–5 years of bartending experience**, including previous supervisory or Head Bartender experience. * Strong cocktail knowledge and mixology skills. * Experience with restaurant openings is highly preferred. * Creative approach to beverage development. * Strong knowledge of spirits, liqueurs, wines, beers, cocktails, and non\-alcoholic beverages. * Strong leadership and training skills. * Good understanding of beverage costing and inventory control. * Excellent communication and guest\-service skills. * Ability to work under pressure in a high\-volume restaurant environment. 2\. BARTENDER – 3 POSITIONS We are looking for **3 professional and enthusiastic Bartenders** to join the opening team of our new Mediterranean restaurant. Bartenders will be responsible for preparing high\-quality beverages, delivering excellent guest service, maintaining bar standards, and supporting the Head Bartender in daily operations. Key Responsibilities * Prepare cocktails, mocktails, spirits, wines, beers, juices, coffee, and other beverages according to company standards. * Follow standardized recipes and correct measurements. * Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, temperature, and portion. * Complete daily bar mise en place and preparation. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar. * Prepare garnishes, syrups, infusions, juices, and other required ingredients. * Follow all opening and closing procedures. * Check stock levels and communicate shortages to the Head Bartender. * Assist with inventory counts and stock control. * Minimize wastage and breakage. * Follow responsible alcohol\-service procedures and all applicable regulations. * Provide friendly, professional, and efficient guest service. * Recommend drinks and assist guests with beverage selections. * Maintain excellent hygiene and food\-safety standards. * Support the Head Bartender during busy periods and special events. * Participate in training, tastings, and menu development sessions. Requirements * Previous experience as a Bartender in a restaurant, hotel, bar, or similar operation. * Good knowledge of cocktails and beverage preparation. * Strong customer\-service skills. * Good communication and teamwork. * Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods. * Professional appearance and positive attitude. * Willingness to learn the restaurant's Mediterranean beverage concept. * Experience in a new opening is an advantage.
