Global Supply Chain Director **Company:** Speed Center Logistics **Location:** Logistics Village Qatar, Gate 4, Al Rayyan, Qatar **Annual Compensation:** QAR 490,000 / year Role Summary Speed Center Logistics is hiring a Global Supply Chain Director to take operational ownership of our cross\-border logistics, freight distribution, and warehousing footprint. Stationed at Logistics Village Qatar (Gate 4\), you will oversee international transport networks, customs brokerage, supply chain optimization, and cold/dry storage operations serving clients throughout Qatar and the wider Middle East. Key Responsibilities * **Logistics \& Network Operations:** Direct end\-to\-end global supply chain workflows, including air/sea freight forwarding, regional fleet dispatch, and large\-scale warehouse inventory management. * **Customs \& Regulatory Governance:** Ensure seamless clearance procedures through Qatari ports and land borders, maintaining strict compliance with Qatar Customs Authority, GAC, and international trade regulations. * **Third\-Party \& Partner Management:** Negotiate strategic contracts with shipping lines, air carriers, local sub\-contractors, and material handling suppliers to optimize freight margins. * **Technology \& Process Enhancement:** Implement modern Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) logistics modules, and real\-time shipment tracking platforms. * **Strategic Budgeting:** Oversee annual departmental OPEX/CAPEX, optimize landed costs, and drive inventory accuracy across all distribution centers. Candidate Eligibility * **Experience:** Minimum 10–12 years in senior supply chain or global logistics leadership, managing large\-scale warehousing and freight operations within the GCC or international hubs. * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or Engineering; CSCP, CPIM, or equivalent professional credentials preferred. * **Technical Proficiency:** Deep working knowledge of automated WMS/TMS solutions, customs portal integrations (e.g., Al Nadeeb), and supply chain analytics. * **Logistics Hub Familiarity:** Proven track record operating within major Qatari logistics zones, free zones, or distribution hubs like Logistics Village Qatar. * **Visa Eligibility:** Must hold full eligibility for local Qatari employment visa transfer or new sponsorship.
