**Position Title:** General Practitioner (GP) – Internal \& Family Medicine **Facility:** Clinica Sabah Specialty Hospital **Location:** Dubai, United Arab Emirates **Employment Type:** Full\-Time **Position Summary** Clinica Sabah Specialty Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate **General Practitioner (GP) specializing in Internal \& Family Medicine** to join our clinical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive primary care, accurately diagnosing complex acute and chronic conditions, and ensuring seamless coordination with major UAE health insurance providers. **Key Responsibilities** **Clinical Assessment \& Diagnosis:** * Conduct thorough clinical examinations, obtain detailed patient histories, and order appropriate diagnostic investigations (laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic testing). * Accurately diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of acute illnesses, routine medical complaints, and chronic lifestyle diseases (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia) across all age demographics. * Formulate evidence\-based treatment plans, prescribe medications, and refer patients to specialized departments when advanced interventions are needed. **Insurance \& Healthcare Administration:** * Demonstrate strong knowledge of UAE health insurance regulations, approval workflows, and pre\-authorization requirements. * Accurately complete Electronic Health Records (EHR) and clinical documentation to support proper insurance coding (ICD\-10, CPT) and minimize claim rejections. * Liaise with hospital insurance desk teams to secure approvals for diagnostic procedures, pharmacy prescriptions, and specialist referrals. **Emergency Preparedness \& Patient Care:** * Perform primary emergency stabilization and life support procedures in accordance with active **BLS (Basic Life Support)** and **ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)** protocols. * Conduct routine preventive health check\-ups, vaccinations, and lifestyle counseling.**Requirements \& Qualifications** * **Education:** MBBS or MBChB degree from a recognized medical school. * **Licensure:** Active DHA (Dubai Health Authority) License or DHA Eligibility Letter as a General Practitioner. * **Certifications:** Active **BLS** and **ACLS** certificates issued by an accredited provider (e.g., American Heart Association). * **Experience:** Minimum 2–3 years of clinical experience in General Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine. * **Insurance Knowledge:** Working knowledge of UAE health insurance processes, pre\-authorizations, and clinical documentation standards. * **Languages:** Proficiency in English (Arabic or additional languages are a plus). **Application Process** Interested candidates meeting the DHA eligibility and clinical requirements are invited to submit their updated CV, DHA license copy, and active BLS/ACLS certifications to .
