General Accountant UAE

A well\-established **Construction \& Heavy Equipment Rental Company based in Dubai** is looking for an experienced, smart, energetic, and responsible **Accountant** to join our team. The successful candidate should have relevant experience in **construction equipment rental, machinery rental, contracting, or a similar industry** and must be capable of handling the company's accounting activities independently, from day\-to\-day bookkeeping through **finalization of accounts**. Key Responsibilities * Handle the company's **complete accounting cycle** and day\-to\-day accounting activities. * Maintain accurate and up\-to\-date accounting records and ledgers. * Handle **accounts payable and accounts receivable**, including supplier and customer accounts. * Prepare and maintain **customer invoices, receipts, payment records, and supplier bills**. * Follow up on outstanding customer receivables and maintain proper aging reports. * Record and reconcile bank transactions and prepare **bank reconciliations**. * Prepare monthly **Profit \& Loss statements, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, and other financial reports**. * Independently prepare and generate **monthly Profit \& Loss reports** for management. * Assist with cash flow monitoring and provide management with regular financial information. * Prepare **monthly management reports** and financial summaries within the required deadlines. * Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records and supporting documents. * Reconcile customer, supplier, bank, cash, and other relevant accounts. * Monitor expenses and ensure transactions are properly recorded and supported by appropriate documentation. * Assist with month\-end and year\-end closing procedures and **finalization of accounts**. * Coordinate with management, suppliers, customers, auditors, and other relevant parties when required. * Ensure accounting records are maintained accurately and confidentially. * Perform other accounting and finance\-related duties assigned by management. Required Qualifications \& Skills * **Bachelor's degree in B.Com, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.** * Minimum **2 years of relevant accounting experience**. * Experience in **construction equipment rental, heavy equipment rental, machinery rental, contracting, or a similar industry** is preferred. * Must have the ability to handle accounts **up to finalization** with minimum supervision. * Strong knowledge of **Profit \& Loss, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable**. * Must be capable of independently preparing **monthly financial and management reports**. * Good understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures. * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills. * Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. * Good organizational and time\-management skills. * **Fluent in English and Hindi.** * **Malayalam language will be an advantage.** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Good command of **Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word**. * Computer literate and comfortable working with accounting software. * Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle multiple responsibilities.
