Gate Barrier Technician

• We are looking for an experienced Gate Barrier Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of automatic gate barrier systems. The role requires traveling to project sites across the UAE as assigned. Key Responsibilities • Install, commission, and configure automatic gate barrier systems. • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on gate barriers and access control equipment. • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults. • Install and terminate power and control cabling. • Configure controllers, safety sensors, loop detectors, remote controls, RFID readers, and related accessories. • Test and commission systems to ensure proper operation. • Respond to service calls and emergency breakdowns. • Prepare service reports and maintenance records. • Follow company safety procedures and site regulations. • Coordinate with project engineers and supervisors to complete work on schedule. Mandatory Requirements • Minimum 2–5 years of proven experience as a Gate Barrier Technician. • Experience with automatic gate barriers, boom barriers, sliding gates, swing gates, and access control systems. • Good knowledge of electrical wiring, troubleshooting, and control panels. • Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical drawings. • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Willing to travel and work at project sites anywhere in the UAE. • Good communication skills in English. • Hindi/Urdu or Arabic is an advantage. • Preferred Experience • Installation and maintenance of parking management systems. • Access control systems. • ANPR systems. • RFID systems. • Loop detectors. • Bollards and road blockers. • Basic networking knowledge is an advantage.
