Garment Technologist

**About the Role** We’re looking for a Garment Technologist to join our Design Development / Sampling team. You’ll be the technical link between Design and Sampling turning design concepts into accurate, production\-ready specs, owning the fit process, and making sure every style moves smoothly from concept to first sample without costly surprises down the line. **What You’ll Do** * Convert design sketches and flat drawings into detailed spec sheets (measurements, construction, seam allowances, trims) * Run the fit process end\-to\-end: first fit, fit comments, revisions, and final sign\-off before bulk sampling * Build and maintain size sets and grading rules across the full size range * Review BOMs for technical accuracy fabric consumption, trims, and construction feasibility * Work directly with pattern makers and the sample room to translate design changes into pattern corrections * Catch construction or fit issues early, before they become expensive sampling revisions * Keep tech packs and specs under proper version control * Lead fit sessions with Design, and client\-facing fit reviews when needed * Ensure garment measurements match the approved size chart and grading standard * Define measurement tolerances and construction checkpoints to support QC **What You’ll Need** * Diploma or degree in Garment Technology, Fashion Technology, or Apparel Production * 4\+ years in a technical/fit role in garment manufacturing (woven and knit experience preferred) * Strong pattern\-reading ability and solid grasp of grading principles * Proficiency with spec sheet tools (Excel\-based specs required; Lectra/Gerber/Optitex a plus) * A sharp eye for fit and construction detail * Comfortable working cross\-functionally across Design, Sampling, and Merchandising * Excellent documentation discipline **Why Join Us** Creative Platform is a full\-service garment manufacturing and B2B fashion consultancy based in Al Quoz, Dubai, working across production, design development, and branding for 20–30 clients monthly.
