* **Supervising Daily Work:** Directing crew members, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress throughout the day. * **Enforcing Safety:** Promoting safe use of tools and machinery, and ensuring workers wear proper safety gear. * **Planning and Scheduling:** Reading blueprints or project plans, setting daily goals, and adjusting work plans for weather or delays. * **Training and Mentoring:** Teaching new skills to workers and helping team members improve. * **Communication:** Acting as a bridge between upper management and the field crew, reporting progress, and resolving conflicts.
