Food Runner / Assistant Waiter (For Fine Dining Restaurant)

Job Title: **Food Runner and Junior Waiter** Monthly Salary: **QAR 1,800** plus FREE Duty Meal, Shared Accommodation and Transportation to and from work **Job Summary**: The Food and Drinks Runner / Assistant Waiter supports the smooth and efficient flow of service by transporting food and beverage orders between the kitchen, bar, and guest tables. Working under the direct supervision of the Restaurant Supervisor, this role assists the waiting team in delivering a seamless, attentive, and elevated dining experience consistent with the restaurant's high\-end service standards. **Responsibilities:** * Collect food and beverage orders promptly from the kitchen and bar, verifying accuracy and presentation before delivering them to the correct guest table. * Assist waiters and the Restaurant Supervisor with table setup, clearing, and resetting between courses and covers, maintaining a smooth service flow. * Communicate clearly with kitchen and bar staff to track order status and ensure timely delivery of dishes and drinks, especially during peak service periods. * Support the service team with replenishing table essentials throughout the guest's dining experience. * Maintain full knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and preparation, to assist waiters in delivering dishes to the correct guest and table. * Assist in clearing and resetting tables promptly after guests depart, ensuring dining areas remain clean, organized, and guest\-ready at all times. * Follow all food safety, hygiene, and grooming standards, and report any service issues or guest concerns to the Restaurant Supervisor. * Perform related tasks required for the operation as assigned by the line manager. **Qualifications**: * High school diploma or equivalent, with prior experience as a food runner, busser, or assistant waiter, preferably within a high\-end restaurant or hotel environment. * Good physical stamina and ability to work efficiently in a fast\-paced environment, with strong teamwork, communication, and basic food and beverage knowledge.
