Fitout Interior Engineer

• Oversee the complete lifecycle of interior fit-out projects, from initial concept and design finalization through to handover and defect rectification. • Manage and coordinate with diverse project stakeholders including clients, designers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution. • Manage project budgets effectively, controlling costs, processing payments, and identifying opportunities for value engineering without compromising quality. • Procure and manage the supply of all necessary materials, finishes, and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment), ensuring timely delivery and quality standards. • Troubleshoot and resolve on-site technical issues and conflicts that arise during the fit-out process, providing practical and efficient solutions. • Prepare and present detailed progress reports, including financial status, risk assessments, and quality assurance metrics, to project management and clients. • Develop and implement comprehensive project schedules, meticulously tracking progress, identifying potential delays, and proactively implementing mitigation strategies. • Conduct rigorous site inspections and quality control checks to ensure all fit-out works adhere to approved drawings, specifications, and industry best practices. • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution. • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other relevant design and project management software is essential. • Strong understanding of building codes, construction methodologies, material properties, and FF&E specifications. • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to address complex site challenges efficiently. • Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Arabic or other regional languages is a significant advantage. • Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing project demands, and maintain a keen eye for detail on site.
