Financial Controller F&B

**General** · Track, report, and analyze budget variances, with a focus on F\&B operational costs including food cost, labor cost, and overheads. · Ensure the accuracy of financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards. · Prepare month\-end reports for management, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. · Oversee all financial planning and analysis, including F\&B\-specific performance metrics such as average spend per head, table turnover, and menu profitability. · Provide executive management with accurate and comprehensive financial information to guide policy\-making and financial strategizing. · Forecast future financial performance, incorporating seasonal trends and market dynamics in the F\&B sector. · Prepare and analyze budgets, working closely with operations teams to align financial goals with business objectives. · Ensure compliance with government regulations, including VAT, municipal fees, and other applicable F\&B industry requirements. · Oversee audits and supervise the accounts team, ensuring robust internal controls and financial governance. · Partner with operational teams to drive cost optimization and improve profitability across Culinary Collective's outlets. **BACKGROUND, QUALIFICATIONS \& EXPERIENCE** **Qualifications** · Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's or CPA preferred). · Minimum 7 years of experience in financial management or accounting, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis. · Strong background in the Food \& Beverage industry is essential, with a deep understanding of F\&B cost structures, operational financial drivers, and margin management. · Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements relevant to the F\&B sector. · Proficient in financial software and ERP systems (experience with F\&B\-specific systems such as Micros or similar POS is an advantage). **Skills** · Excellent analytical and problem\-solving skills. · Strong leadership and team management abilities. · High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail. · Exceptional communication and presentation skills. · Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. · Strong commercial awareness with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
