Finance Specialist

**Key responsibilities** * Carry out field visits to hotels and facilities subject to tourist tax collection, and prepare financial reports on time * Prepare regular revenue reports and ensure collection * Study and analyse tourism revenue collection rates, whether rising or falling * Prepare the annual general budget for tourism revenues * Audit amounts collected from all tourist establishments * Carry out accounting audit of revenues, invoices and revenue forms * Follow up on all Authority expenses and report on them * Review amounts returned from petty cash * Process payment of all disbursement documents for the recurring budget, the Authority’s projects and their expenses **Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field * 2\+ years in accounting, audit, revenue or government finance * Confident doing field audit visits to hotels and commercial establishments * Strong Excel; experience with accounting or ERP systems * Good communication skills in Arabic and English * CPA / ACCA / CMA is an advantage * Bahrain\-based candidates preferred; Bahraini nationals prioritised Language: * Arabic (Required) Work Location: In person
