Finance Manager

Horizons Industrial Development Co. LLC (HIDC) is an industrial company based in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, operating a gypsum quarry and a Rapidwall gypsum panel manufacturing plant in Sohar, serving construction projects across Oman and export markets. We are seeking a hands\-on Finance Manager to lead the company's finance function and act as the senior financial authority reporting directly to the General Manager and the Managing Director. Key Responsibilities: \- Lead the full finance function: monthly closing, financial statements, and management reporting \- Review and approve the work of the accounting team before posting \- Own product costing for mining and manufacturing operations, including inventory valuation \- Manage banking relationships, cash flow planning, and payment cycles \- Ensure VAT compliance and timely filing (Oman VAT) \- Consolidate and own the calendar of financial deadlines (VAT, payroll, bank, audit) \- Drive the company's ERP\-based accounting (Odoo) and strengthen internal controls \- Coordinate with external auditors and consultants Requirements: \- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; professional qualification (CA / ACCA / CMA) preferred \- Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a manufacturing or industrial environment \- Strong command of costing and inventory accounting (process/manufacturing costing is a must) \- Hands\-on ERP experience; Odoo experience is a strong advantage \- Working knowledge of Oman VAT and statutory requirements \- Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage \- Currently in Oman or GCC with transferable experience preferred Pay: RO1,000\.000 \- RO1,200\.000 per month Work Location: In person
