FIELD SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE – LENCO BearCat

**Risk Level:** Medium **Revision Date:** 07/28/2026 **Approved By:** RLS Operations Manager **Work Location:** United Arab Emirates (UAE) **POSITION DESCRIPTION:** Under the supervision of the RLS Operations Manager, the Field Service Representative will operate and inspect vehicles to perform troubleshooting actions and diagnose defects; examine parts for damage or excessive wear; repair or replace parts as required; inspect and analyze malfunctions and repairs; rebuild and maintain equipment and systems unique to fleet vehicles. Must have the technological and electrical skills to inspect, repair, and maintain specialized equipment. Operates and inspects machines or equipment to diagnose defects. Dismantles and reassembles equipment using hoists and hand tools. Examines parts for damage or excessive wear using micrometers and gauges. Replaces defective engines and subassemblies, such as transmissions. Tests overhauled equipment to ensure operating efficiency. **MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:** 1\. Maintain armored vehicles to bring them to Fully Mission Capable (FMC) status 2\. Manage day\-to\-day site operations to meet schedule milestones 3\. Confirm all reports are complete and delivered IAW contract\-defined timelines 4\. Maintain day\-to\-day interface with designated units, organizations, and personnel 5\. Conduct technical inspections of the vehicles IAW the Technical Manuals 6\. Identify and correct deficiencies to bring equipment to a 10/20 standard 7\. Provide corrective and maintainer\-level preventative maintenance 8\. Populate and maintain DA Form 2404 Equipment Inspection and Maintenance Worksheet 9\. Conduct technical inspections of damaged or non\-mission cable 10\. Comply with all guidelines and instructions issued by the customer’s designated representative to ensure force protection and safety 11\. FSR shall be able to perform all required Field Level Maintenance 12\. Upon receiving notice of a fault, FSR will have 5 working days to diagnose the vehicle. Within 10 days, identify by vehicle serial number unresolved problems, technical issues, parts, equipment, or skilled labor that are unavailable but necessary to complete the maintenance or repair. Within 15 days, bring the vehicle to Fully Mission Capable status. 13\. FSR shall keep and maintain a daily work log to support the submission of CDRL requirements. 14\. FSR shall conduct familiarization training. 15\. FSR shall conduct on\-the\-job training for unit operators and maintainers. 16\. Performs other duties as assigned. **MATERIAL \& EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:** Diagnostic and test equipment consisting of TMDE, technical manuals \- to include Electronic Technical Manuals (ETM’s), lifting devices \- including bridge cranes, material handling equipment, hand tools, micrometers, gauges, and any other equipment required to properly troubleshoot equipment faults. **WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:** Must be able to lift/push/pull 50 lbs. Work will require stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working in areas where there is potential for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents. Employee use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in certain areas. Such PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, hand, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices. Must comply with OSHA, EPA, Fire Regulations and published Company work rules. Work is generally conducted in a shop environment; however, duties may involve work in the outdoor area with potential exposure to extreme climatic conditions. **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:** **Education:** High School Diploma, or GED. Training in equipment maintenance and management procedures at the sustainment level of maintenance. **Experience:** Minimum of five (5\) years of mechanical experience with heavy\-wheeled vehicles. Two (2\) years of experience with diesel engine maintenance. Five (5\) years of training experience and foreign military liaison experience are required. The successful candidate must also be able to communicate effectively and deal diplomatically with customers and co\-workers. Specific contractual requirements regarding education and experience prevail where applicable. **Preferred Qualifications:** Experience with repairing LENCO BearCat vehicles highly preferred Formal education/ certificates in armored vehicle service repair 10 years of military experience in vehicle maintenance **Licensing:** Must have and maintain a valid CDL driver’s license throughout employment. **Clearance:** Background check and drug screening will be administered. Must be able to obtain and maintain a NACI and Secret security clearance when/if required.
