Job description

Responsibilities: • Manage assembly of automation systems, wellhead control panels and chemical injection skids • Ensure all work executed in Avanceon factories or E&I installation/integration executed in sub-vendor/contractor facilities meets or exceeds quality and safety requirements • Estimate 3 rd party / contract labour hours and secure PO through PMT for each prior to commencement of work, strict adherence to No PO, No Service policy • Ensure all work is executed strictly within manhours agreed with PMT in accordance with Approved/Issued for Construction/Manufacturing/Fabrication drawings/design • In case of extra hours due to design changes notified by PMT, promptly estimate additional hours and secure PO for additional hours (change management) • Estimate and procure consumables through SCM (Supply Chain Management) within cost budget negotiated with or allocated by PMT • Identify and retain multiple 3 rd party / contract labour suppliers in order to maintain competitive rates and meet any manpower scale up requirements, avoid single-vendor dependencies • Regularly (at least a week) flag all material shortages to PMT impacting delivery schedule and demobilize idle resources or secure additional hours PO through PMT • Ensure all delivery (FAT readiness) commitments to PMT are met • Continuously screen workforce (both employees and 3 rd party labour) for competency and identify either training or replacement • Regularly (at least fortnightly) discuss with PMT about upcoming work and ensure resource planning accordingly • Ensure daily housekeeping in Avanceon factories • Ensure all time sheets for all workers (both employees and 3 rd party labour) are approved on actual on daily basis without exception • Ensure any overtime for employee workers is pre-approved/pre-agreed with PMT • Ensure adequate type, quantity (with spare capacity) and quality of tools (hand/manual, electrical, hydraulic, instrumentation) and equipment (engraving, TB marker, sleeve printer, etc.) is maintained and if required serviced and calibrated • Ensure all test equipment (electrical, hydraulic, simulation, etc.) is properly maintained, calibrated (as required) and always in working condition with adequate space capacity • Ensure proper accounting, handling and safekeeping of all work in progress (WIP) material issued from stores to factory • Support and facilitate PMT/IX for all testing (FAT) activities in Avanceon factories or where applicable in sub-vendor/contractor facilities • Identify, propose and implement ideas/solutions/initiatives for automation of manufacturing to boost efficiency and achieve world class assembly / manufacturing • Proven experience as a manager of systems manufacturing or similar role in an industrial setting. • In-depth knowledge of control, electrical, assembling, and fabrication techniques. • Familiarity with electrical, instrumentation and mechanical scope execution in Skid packages. • Strong problem-solving skills, especially in resolving manufacturing-related issues. • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications. • Experience in participating in factory testing activities with client. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. • Education and Certifications: Diploma or Bachelor equivalent. Relevant technical certifications or vocational training.
