Job description

Facility Project Manager About the Role As we continue to scale our physical footprint across the UAE — retail hubs, refurbishment and reconditioning centres, inspection yards, and office spaces — we are looking for a Facility Project Manager to take end-to-end ownership of how these spaces are built, delivered, and maintained. This is a hands-on role for someone who blends an infrastructure mindset with real construction experience : comfortably reading a drawing, negotiating with a contractor, chasing an authority approval, and standing on a live site to make sure the work matches the plan. You'll turn new-site decisions into fully operational, safe, and compliant spaces — on time and on budget. What You'll Do Project Delivery & Construction • Manage the full lifecycle of construction, fit-out, and civil works projects — from concept and feasibility through design, execution, and handover. • Coordinate civil, MEP, HVAC, electrical, and fire & safety works across multiple sites simultaneously. • Conduct regular site inspections to track progress, quality, and adherence to design intent and safety standards. Infrastructure Planning & New Site Development • Support site identification and feasibility assessments for new retail hubs, refurbishment centres, and yards. • Translate operational and business requirements into practical space and infrastructure plans. • Drive space optimisation and capacity planning across existing and upcoming locations. Vendor, Contractor & Cost Management • Source, evaluate, and appoint contractors, consultants, and suppliers; manage scope, SLAs, and performance. • Own project budgets and CAPEX planning — forecast, track, and control costs, and flag variances early. • Review and negotiate quotations, contracts, and variation orders to protect quality and value. Regulatory Approvals & Compliance • Manage authority approvals and permits (e.g. Municipality, Civil Defence, DEWA/SEWA/Etihad, free-zone / Trakhees where applicable). • Ensure all works comply with UAE building codes, safety regulations, and relevant local authority requirements. Facilities Management & Handover • Ensure smooth handover of completed sites into operations, including snagging, documentation, and asset registers. • Oversee preventive and reactive maintenance, MEP systems, and overall upkeep of live facilities. • Establish and monitor facility management SLAs to keep sites safe, functional, and presentable. Health, Safety & Sustainability • Champion a strong HSE culture across all projects and facilities. • Ensure contractors and works comply with health, safety, and environmental standards. • Factor energy efficiency and sustainability into design and operational decisions where feasible. Stakeholder Management & Reporting • Act as the central point of contact between operations, leadership, contractors, and consultants. • Provide clear, regular updates on project status, budgets, risks, and timelines. What You'll Bring Education • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Experience • 4-6 years of experience in facility, project, or infrastructure management, with a strong construction / fit-out background. • Proven track record delivering multi-site build-out or fit-out projects end-to-end. • UAE / GCC experience strongly preferred, with working knowledge of local authority approval processes and building regulations. • Experience in retail, automotive, industrial, warehousing, or logistics environments is a plus. Skills & Competencies • Solid grasp of civil and MEP works and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings. • Strong project management discipline — scope, schedule, budget, and quality control. • Confident vendor negotiation and contractor management skills. • Highly organised, with the ability to run multiple projects and priorities at once. • Proactive problem-solver who stays calm and decisive under site pressure. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD (reading level), and MS Office / Google Workspace. Preferred Certifications (nice to have) • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification. • Facilities Management certification (e.g. IFMA / BIFM) or HSE certification (e.g. NEBOSH / OSHA). Why Join Us You'll play a direct role in shaping the physical spaces where our teams and customers experience the brand every day. Every site you deliver becomes part of how we grow — visible, tangible, and impactful. If you like ownership, pace, and seeing your work take physical shape, you'll feel right at home here.
