FACILITIES MANAGEMENT MANAGER **Background:** Electrical / Mechanical Engineering Job Purpose To manage and oversee the overall Facilities Management operations, ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation and maintenance of buildings, MEP systems, equipment, and facilities in accordance with contractual, statutory, and HSE requirements. Key Responsibilities * Manage day\-to\-day **Facilities Management and MEP operations** across assigned facilities. * Lead and supervise maintenance teams, technicians, engineers, and subcontractors. * Ensure effective operation and maintenance of **HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, firefighting, BMS, and other building services**. * Plan and monitor **Preventive \& Corrective Maintenance (PPM/CM)** activities. * Ensure maximum equipment availability, reliability, and minimum downtime. * Monitor maintenance schedules, work orders, KPIs, SLAs, and response/resolution times. * Manage planned and reactive maintenance activities and emergency breakdowns. * Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal departments. * Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with contractual requirements. * Prepare and review maintenance reports, operational reports, and performance dashboards. * Control maintenance costs, manpower, materials, spare parts, and service contracts. * Ensure compliance with **HSE, statutory, authority, and company requirements**. * Conduct regular inspections and identify opportunities for energy saving, cost reduction, and operational improvement. * Support budgeting, forecasting, procurement, and annual maintenance planning. * Ensure proper documentation, asset registers, maintenance records, and CAFM systems are maintained. * Lead emergency response and ensure timely resolution of critical facility issues. * Develop and mentor the FM/MEP team and ensure high standards of service delivery. Minimum Requirements * Bachelor’s Degree in **Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering**. * **10–12\+ years of Facilities Management / MEP experience**, preferably with large commercial, residential, hospitality, healthcare, industrial, or mixed\-use facilities. * Minimum **3–5 years in a Facilities Manager / FM Manager / Senior FM role**. * Strong knowledge of **MEP systems, HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, BMS, firefighting and building services**. * Experience managing maintenance teams and subcontractors. * Strong knowledge of **PPM, reactive maintenance, CAFM, SLA/KPI management**. * Good understanding of HSE and statutory compliance requirements. * Strong client\-management, leadership, communication, and reporting skills. * Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of CAFM/CMMS systems is preferred. * **GCC/Qatar experience is preferred.** Preferred Certifications * CFM / FMP / IFMA certification * NEBOSH / IOSH * PMP or equivalent project\-management qualification * Relevant MEP/HVAC certifications Key Competencies **Facilities Management \| MEP Operations \| Electrical Systems \| Mechanical Systems \| HVAC \| PPM \| Reactive Maintenance \| CAFM/CMMS \| Asset Management \| SLA/KPI \| Budget Control \| Contractor Management \| HSE \| Team Leadership \| Client Management** Ideal Candidate Profile An experienced **Facilities Management professional with an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree**, strong MEP technical knowledge, and proven experience managing large\-scale facilities, maintenance teams, contractors, budgets, and client requirements.
