Event & Retail Operations Manager

**Job title:** Event \& Retail Operations Manager **Location:** Abu Dhabi, UAE (Liwa, October–December, then Abu Dhabi city) **Job type:** Full\-time, permanent **Salary:** AED 4,000 – 6,000 per month \[\+ accommodation and transport in Liwa ] **Start date:** Immediate **About the role** We're hiring one manager for two things. From now until December, you'll run on\-site operations for Project02, our seasonal experiential event in Liwa. When the season ends, you'll move into a permanent role running The Flower Room, our boutique flower shop in Abu Dhabi. This is an immediate start. You'll step into a live event and keep it running smoothly, then bring the same discipline to day\-to\-day retail. We need someone who can handle the logistics and has an eye for how things look and feel to guests. **Part 1: Project02, Liwa (October – December)** * Take over on\-site management of the event for the rest of the season * Coordinate vendors, exhibitors, F\&B partners and suppliers * Oversee installations and daily operations * Keep the event on timeline and on budget * Schedule and supervise on\-ground staff * Deal with guest issues and keep the experience at a high standard * Work with marketing and design on branding, signage and activations * Make sure health and safety standards are met **When the season ends** * Manage breakdown and handover of assets * Report on how the event performed and what to change next year * Keep vendor and partner relationships warm for future editions **Part 2: The Flower Room, Abu Dhabi (from January, permanent)** * Run daily shop operations * Manage the team: schedules, attendance and performance * Look after customer experience, orders and store presentation * Manage inventory, stock levels and suppliers * Track sales, costs and profitability * Put systems in place that make the shop run more efficiently * Bring ideas for growth, including events and brand activations **What you'll need** * Experience in event operations, retail management, or both * Experience leading and scheduling a team * Strong organisation and attention to detail * Ability to stay calm and decisive under pressure * Clear communication and good problem\-solving * An eye for aesthetics and customer experience * Currently in the UAE and able to start immediately * Willing to be based in Liwa from now until December **Nice to have** * Background in hospitality, events or lifestyle brands * Knowledge of the Abu Dhabi market * Interest in flowers, design or creative concepts * UAE driving licence **What we offer** * AED 4,000 – 6,000 per month, depending on experience * Accommodation and transport in Liwa during the season * Visa, medical insurance, annual leave * A permanent role running a boutique retail brand after the season **How to apply** Apply through Indeed with your CV and tell us how soon you can start.
