Estimator (Asphalt and Roads)

Tendering & Estimation • Review drawings, BOQs, specifications, and project scope. • Prepare detailed asphalt quantity take-offs and cost estimates. • Estimate production costs (bitumen, aggregates, fuel, manpower, plant & equipment). • Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations for materials and transport. • Prepare commercial proposals for internal and external customers. Cost Calculation & Coordination • Calculate plant production cost (per ton/m²). • Estimate site transportation and machinery usage. • Prepare profit & loss projections and update rates based on market changes. • Coordinate with operations, procurement, finance, and QA/QC teams. Documentation & Project Support • Prepare formal quotations, pricing sheets, and tender submissions. • Maintain cost databases and track bid outcomes. • Support project teams with planning, variations, and mix design costing. • Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or related field. • 5+ years of experience in asphalt estimation or road construction. • Strong knowledge of asphalt production and paving operations. • Excellent MS Excel and analytical skills. • Ability to interpret drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
